White-throated Dipper (Cinclus cinclus) alongside raging water, Brock Valley
White-throated Dipper (Cinclus cinclus) perched on rocks, beneath nest alongside flooded river. Dippers have a remarkable way to catch food in a niche area. They are able to dive under water readily at will and walk along the bottom in search of caddis fly larva and other food.
