Common Guillemot (Uria aalge) Huddled together on breeding rock, Farne Islands, UK Common Guillemot (Uria aalge) Huddled together in part to shelter form the stiff breze coming off the North Sea. Thi sis the beginning of the breeding season and the competion for space will be hotting up in the coming days. The weather is really keeping them in check. The sunny bright day seems to hide this reality. Few Kittiwakes already sitting on nests.
