Pink Foot Geese (Anser Brachyrhynchus) Pink Footed leaving the mudflats to forage farm fields in Morecambe bay, Lancashire, UK Pink Foot Geese (Anser Brachyrhynchus) Atmospheric image of Pink Footed leaving the mudflats and the Salt Marsh in Morecambe Bay for a day foraging in farm fields. The image is taken with a change in weather systems, with high pressure being displaced by low pressure. With their small bills they are only able to tackle easier foods, like grass. They have however grown a liking for potatoes, which originally is not part of their diet. Due to modern farming practices, this has allowed the geese to add potatoes to their diet whilst they over winter in the UK.
