White-throated Dipper (Cinclus cinclus) harder to see along the darker rivers edge with reflection off the water. Dippers can be hard to spot even though they are active birds. Dippers have a remarkable way to catch food in a niche area. They are able to dive under water readily at will and walk along the bottom in search of caddis fly larva and other food.
