Herring Gulls, Oystercatchers (Haematopus ostralegus) and the odd Carrion Crow take advantage of the bounty available on a super low Spring tide in Winter, against the backdrop of the Blackpool Tower and the Pleasure Beach, wiht the mountains of the lake Dristrict and Cumbria beyond as viewed from Formby, along the Sefton Coast. The Heysham Nuclear Power station sits to the far left, across in Morcombe Bay. Nationally important sand dune Systems at St. Annes to the far right.
