Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula arctica) Resting as a colony on the top of the cliff. They return after a fishing trip and a delivery of Sand eels to the burrows to rest up gather in number then fly out to sea on another trip. Bright colouring dominates the bird in the breeding season as in this image. The behaviour is also indicative of the breeding season. Sand Eels form their main diet when breeding, so an important resource.
