Black headed Gull (Chroicocephalus ridibundus) incoming and avoiding attack. Although a typically gregarious bird, they defend their patch, and incoming birds flying over anothers patch need to watch out from neighbourly attacks. In part to deter a possible theft of nesting materials, as well as protecting partners from single birds.
