Black headed Gull (Chroicocephalus ridibundus) in flight along strandline, searching the strandline for food that the spring tide may have brought in. However the strandline is littered with rubbish including plastics, amongst other normal strandline detritus. Rubbish is becoming more common along the coastlines of the UK, in ever increasing quantities and variety.
